The annual Locust Point Festival is this Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Latrobe Park.

Cornhole Tournament!
Competition 2-5 p.m. The cost is $10 per team (of two) and space is limited so sign up today! Prizes awarded to first and second place finishers! Prepay and Register via Website Pay Pal.

9/9/2015 Please plan to attend the Locust Point Civic Association General Meeting tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in the Francis Scott Key school cafeteria.
This month we will see a presentation from Parks and Rec. regarding the design for the bathhouse in Latrobe Park.

8/17/2015 Weather permitting, please join us Wednesday, August 19 for the Citizens on Patrol (COP) Walk.
Led by a Baltimore police officer, during this 1-hour walk we will explore our local streets to look for signs of crime and vandalism. It’s a nice way to get to know your neighbors and help improve our community.
Gather at 7:00 p.m. in front of the Himalayan House (across from Latrobe Park – 1522 East Fort Ave).

8/13/2015 Volunteers are needed for help in making Kruschiki (Polish bow-tie cookies) for this year’s LPCA festival.
This is a long-standing tradition in the Locust Point community, and we need your help to keep it going. We need at least 40 volunteers.
Lunch will be provided. All are welcome at this family-friendly event.

The LPCA invites you to participate in the Community Improvement Grant program. This program provides small grants to support Locust Point residents who have an interest in beautifying or enhancing the Locust Point community.
The grant committee is looking for projects that:

The LPCA is searching for a volunteer to assume the role of COP Coordinator. This important position can have a tremendous impact on our community at-large.
The COP Coordinator maintains an open dialogue with the Baltimore City Police Dept and organizes the walks which are scheduled April-October on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.
