-Dog Park: A Yappy Hour to commemorate the 5 year anniversary of the dog park is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 @ Miguels in Silo Point. Contact for more information.

-Parks and Beautification: The Community Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 18th. We will be cleaning the neighborhood streets and alleys. All the tools will be provided from the Baltimore Community Tool bank. Meet at the park entrance at 9am and work until noon. We are looking for a volunteer to act as a co-chairperson for this event. -Social: Planning for the annual festival and picnic are underway. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact

-Safety: COP Walks will start back up Wednesday, April 15. Led by a Baltimore police officer, during this 1-hour walk we will explore our local streets to look for signs of crime and vandalism. It’s a nice way to get to know your neighbors and help improve our community. Contact for more information.

Community Announcements included:

-Boy Scout Troop 577 is participating in a local food drive to benefit Baltimore Station. Plastic bags of non-perishable items will be collected Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m..

-Community Improvement Grant Committee: Applications are available online. We encourage you to participate!

-Downtown Sailing Center: The Downtown Sailing Center would like to invite you to Friday’s DSC March Member Social. It is our St. Patty’s Day Leprechaun Party at Barfly’s on Fort Avenue. Come by between 6 PM and 9 PM on Friday, March 13th and enjoy Free Food, Drink Specials, Deeply Discounted Irish Beers and much more with the DSC community! All are invited and we strongly encourage you to wear your most Irish clothing! This is a free event and all food items will be provided by the Downtown Sailing Center. -Locust Point Community Church: All families with children 1-12 are invited to the Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, March 28 10-11:30 AM. Join us for games, crafts and prizes. More information at
