recycleRECYCLING CHANGES
Baltimore will scale back recycling collection to every other week due to staffing shortages during the coronavirus pandemic, city officials have announced. The move will take effect Jan. 18, 2022. When the biweekly recycling collection begins, Baltimore will be divided into two zones. Communities north of North Avenue will see their recycling collected during cycle A beginning Jan. 18. Neighborhoods south of North Avenue will have collection on cycle B beginning Jan. 24. Learn more: Baltimore Recycle Cart FAQ

In addition, our neighborhood will be receiving new recycling carts (similar to our green trash cans) provided at no cost to residents by the City.
